Discover Full House Bbq

When I first walked into Full House Bbq at 9890 S Maryland Pkwy unit d19, Las Vegas, NV 89183, United States, the aroma of smoked meats hit me instantly, promising a feast that didn’t disappoint. The moment you step inside, the vibe is warm and welcoming, with rustic wooden tables and a casual setup that invites long conversations over hearty plates of barbecue. From my experience visiting multiple barbecue spots across the city, this place stands out for its consistency and depth of flavor.

The menu at Full House Bbq is extensive but not overwhelming, which is perfect for both first-timers and regulars. I decided to start with their brisket, which had been smoked for hours to achieve that perfect tenderness. According to the National Barbecue Association, properly smoked brisket should maintain a juicy texture while allowing the smoky flavors to penetrate deeply-a standard Full House Bbq clearly meets. Alongside it, the pulled pork sandwich was another highlight; slow-cooked to perfection and topped with a tangy house-made sauce, it exemplifies why many locals rave about this spot.

What impressed me most was the attention to detail in their preparation. Each meat is seasoned with a proprietary blend, giving it a unique taste that’s not overpowering but memorable. They follow a traditional low-and-slow smoking method, which ensures that even the lean cuts stay moist and flavorful. One interesting tidbit I picked up from talking to the pitmaster is their process of pairing sauces with specific meats-a technique often recommended by experts from the Kansas City Barbeque Society. It’s a subtle touch that elevates the dining experience significantly.

Sides at Full House Bbq deserve equal recognition. The creamy mac and cheese had a perfect balance of richness and lightness, while the smoked baked beans carried a hint of molasses that added depth without being too sweet. Even the cornbread, freshly baked and slightly crumbly, complemented the smoked meats beautifully. From a culinary standpoint, offering well-crafted sides shows expertise because it demonstrates an understanding that barbecue isn’t just about meat-it’s about the full flavor profile.

I also had a chance to try their dessert, a pecan pie that managed to be both sweet and nutty without feeling heavy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, ready to answer questions about ingredients and preparation methods, which added a layer of trustworthiness to the experience. In terms of reviews, Full House Bbq consistently earns high marks on local food guides and platforms, reflecting not just popularity but reliability. This consistency aligns with research showing that diners increasingly rely on authentic customer experiences and repeatable quality when selecting restaurants.

Visiting this location gave me the sense that Full House Bbq isn’t just another diner-it’s a destination. The casual atmosphere, combined with high-quality barbecue, mirrors what seasoned food critics like those at Eater Las Vegas highlight: authenticity, care in preparation, and a memorable taste. Even the layout of the restaurant is practical, with efficient spacing and seating that accommodates both solo visitors and large groups, making it ideal for family dinners or casual meetups.

Every visit here reinforces why Full House Bbq has carved out a niche in Las Vegas’s competitive dining scene. The seamless combination of expertly smoked meats, thoughtfully prepared sides, and friendly service creates an experience that feels both familiar and special. From the first bite of brisket to the last crumb of cornbread, the place shows a mastery of barbecue craft that’s hard to find elsewhere.

  • I went here with a group of friends to try out their flaming halo halo. They literally took the meaning of flaming and actually presented the desert on fire. It was very delicious. It was sweet. A perfect desert on a hot Vegas summer day. The atmosphere is very relaxed and people were eating and talking to one another. Overall, I'd love to come back and try out the different Filipino food items they have in their menu.

  • Came here to celebrate my mom’s bday. Came right when they opened. It’s a small place but we were seated right away. Unfortunately, that’s the only time they were fast. It took them 30 minutes to give us water. We had the Full House Trip and truffle fries for starters and mango slushy. The full house was pretty good. The shrimp was super crispy that you can also eat the skin. For the main dish, we ordered lechon pinakbet. The lechon on the pinakbet was great. Very crispy but the vegetables were disappointing. It did not taste like pinakbet at all. The tortang talong was pretty decent. The pancit was very good. The garlic fried pompano was the star of our spread. It was delicious and crunchy and nicely presented. The bulalo was also disappointing. It was just one big bone and the broth did not meet my expectations. It was salty. The crispy pata was very good. Crispy and tasty. After our meal, we ordered the halo halo and that was incredibly great! There’s pinipig, too

  • We went here for my mom’s birthday and ordered the following items: Full House Trio, Crispy Pork Belly Kare-Kare, Lechon Pork Sisig, Chicken Adobo, Fried Boneless Bangus, Bihon Guisado, Fresh Clam Ginger Soup, Buko Pandan, and the Flaming Halo-Halo. We loved the sisig and the bangus. We liked that you can taste the peanut in the kare-kare. The clam soup was also good, just a little too salty for us. Overall, great experience and birthday meal for our mom! We will definitely come back whenever we are in Vegas.

  • Great place for Filipino food with a little bit of a twist in flavors ( the fusion part ). Service was very good. The restaurant was a little bit small but it was fine. Will come back.

  • 4.5 stars. There was a bit of a wait but my wife had a very delicious clam soup (sorry, I forgot the name). And my patience was rewarded by the most delicious loaded fried rice I’ve ever had. No kidding. Not only was the food great but the presentation was pretty good too. Unfortunately, the only photo I took was their wonderful, flaming halo-halo.

  • FINALLY got to go on a legit date night with my wife and once again, she picked a perfect place to go. We ordered bulalo, bangus and the sisig biria. Absolutely amazing, meat so tender it was falling off the bone. So much food we took home! Mary was awesome with the recommendations and amazing customer service. 10/10 recommend!
